Does Q-Linn have Plus Size bras?

Plus size bras are becoming the standard in Australia. Our experience from years of fitting bras is that many women are a size 14 or above, and wear a DD cup or larger. (our best selling size is 14DD).

The average woman in Australia weighs 71.1kg and is 161.8cm tall, according to figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, collected in 2011-12. This would make her a size 14-16 in clothing.

I did a quick google search to see what size a Plus size bra model would have to wear and found this little snippet:

Hope you can read it, but it basically says that plus models are anywhere between a size 12 - 22 ). Not sure how you feel about this, but I think it's quite bizarre that for most fashion brands plus size means everything over size 12 while the average size of their customers is a size 14-16.

Originally Q-Linn sports bras were only available up to a size 18D, but very quickly it became clear that this wouldn't be enough for the Australian market. So I asked the Dutch owner of the brand if they wanted to make a range of plus size bras. And they responded...

Plus size bras... yes of course!

It has taken almost 3 years to development and rigorous testing, but in June 2016 we launched the BARCELONA bra in Australia. This sports bra is designed for larger cup sizes and is currently available as a C cup all the way up to an H cup.

But we didn't stop there... we also expanded the sizing range go from a size 8 up to a size 22. I think it's safe to say that we have the plus size bra range covered ;)

Of course there will always be sizes that we can't cater for - but we try.. and Q-Linn's ongoing research and development projects continually look for designs to support women with either bigger dress sizes or bigger boobs.
