If you want success, you have to work hard and not let anything hold you back. Just ask Q-LINN sponsored rider Tracey Whitehurst, who recently took a huge step up and rode her first FEI dressage class, the Prix St Georges.

“As you move up the levels, everyone expects things to get easier as you become a better rider. But it doesn’t. It gets harder - so much harder. But the satisfaction of pushing through is so much greater, too. It’s so worth it.”

Life is hard. Competing is hard. Staying active when you have large breasts is hard. But feeling regret from letting life hold you back – that’s hard, too.

As they say: choose your hard.

Tracey chose well.

Training in the gym six days a week, competing most weekends with her horse, Aria, being a full-time mother to her young son and coaching her dressage students is a balancing act.

“The importance of fitness has been such a surprise – things are so much harder to do in the higher (dressage) levels, and so precise, and you need to be there to support your horse and yourself.

“Before I found Q-LINN, my other bras definitely held me back. I had to have cardio day or strength day at the gym – never both on the same day, unless I wanted to stop in the middle of my workout and change bras. For cardio I need a supportive bra – and that means underwire. But for strength workouts underwire bras are so uncomfortable, they pinch and rub.

“Then I found Q-LINN… wow.

“That’s why I approached the company to become a sponsored rider – I love the Q-LINN product. I can go from the saddle to gym, cardio to strength, without changing bras or getting sore. It’s what I love most about Q-LINN - the comfort. In my other bras, I’d finish a ride or finish teaching a lesson, jump in the car and have to unclip my bra. I always felt pain across the front of my chest – I’d start out feeling fine, but by the end I’d be in agony.

“I’m not shy about recommending Q-LINN to all of my female students, people I meet at the gym or encouraging other riders to give the range a go if they’re sick of bras that just don’t do the job.

“Riders always talk about gear they use. That’s why it’s great for me to have Q-LINN’s support; I’m talking about something I believe in.

“Just like in riding, it’s important to be supported by a strong foundation. I definitely recommend Q-LINN for that.”
